The entrance to the Taman Negara National Park is on the opposite side of the river from Kuala Tahan. The park itself is very large covering an area of 4,343 square kilometres. The park has lots of trekking routes and even more species of plants, trees, insects, birds, reptiles and mammals. The entrance fee is 1 MYR per person and 5 MYR to enter the world’s longest canopy walk, which is close to the main entrance to the Taman Negara National Park and as far into the park as the majority of visitors will ever venture.
