Causeway Link bus services depart from Larkin Bus Terminal in Johor Bahru every day from 04:10 until 22:40 and take 15 to 30 minutes to arrive into Kranji MRT Station, which is the closest suburban railway station to the causeway linking Malaysia to Singapore. The one-way fare is 1.9 MYR. Travel by taxi is the most expensive option. A taxi from Johor Bahru city centre across to Singapore costs around 100 to 150 MYR depending upon which taxi company you travel with and your final destination in Singapore. By taxi the journey also takes 15 to 30 minutes just to get across to Singapore because of the volume of traffic on this route.

Much faster than travelling road from Johor Bharu to Singapore is to take the KTM Shuttle train service which departs from Johor Bahru Sentral station and arrives in Singapore at Woodlands Train Checkpoint. Train depart every day from 05:00 until 22:45 and the journey takes only 5 minutes. The ticket price is 5 MYR. Woodland Checkpoint is 1.6 km from the nearest rapid transport station, Marsiling MRT Station. You take a bus to Marsiling MRT Station from the nearby Woodland Temporary Bus Interchange.
